The beef skewers used to he good. Peanut sauce is great. The beef used to be a better cut and was in cubes. Now it is beyond chewy and cut into strips. If your jaw needs a workout do it. The chicken tenders are a great bet. Staff is nice. Drinks are good and reasonable. Pretty standard.

I really like the food and service, good area very close to my apartment. The employees are always helpful. Will visit here again.

Very happening place even though it was incredibly busy on a Saturday night and parents weekend for Kean College the bar staff was super busy but very attentive the Burgers & Drinks were really good even being that BusyHats off to the staff.

Wanted to try a local place in Keene and this place was great. Wasn't sure on the food given the small size and seemed more like a bar, but great stuff! Had the blackened chicken wrap and hand breaded tenders. Will be going back and would give athumbs up!

Used to be very upscale and nice, now not so much. Used the restroom and it stunk so bad that my eyes were watering. Outdoor patio is decent, except for cigarette smoke!

Drinks and food are good. Service is very slow. The servers make your drinks so they are overwhelmed. It's not the staff's fault, it's just the system.

The martini selection is superb and delicious!! Very friendly service, fantastic happy hour specials. Definitely recommend!

Food is wildly expensive and frequently takes 30-40 minutes, and that's after they typically take 5 minutes to bring you menus and 10 minutes to get your order. But the drinks are good (expensive, but strong!) and atmosphere isn't bad, albeit loud.Needs more staffing. These wait times aren't the servers' faults, they're waiting on too many tables.

Cute place and nice crowd. Bartenders were not friendly, the giant pretzel 🥨 was boring and the cheese dip that it came with tasted like flour 🤮 the waffle fries came out without the toppings, if only they wrote down the orders perhaps the food would have been correct. Wouldn’t recommend eating here.

Stopped in for a drinks. It’s was great I got the dirty Girl Scout and it was amazing. It came with a thin mint 😊 The bartender she was great, very nice and personable

Great atmosphere and drinks

One of the best bars in town. Always friendly service and not packed full of obnoxious college kids.

Brunch is always great. It gets a bit too crowded on Friday and Saturday night for my taste, but it's in my regular rotation of Keene bars. Thumbs up!

Very hot in Summer months. Not enough AC for the amount of people that try to fit in there. It's a bit too small as far as the dining area goes. The outside dining area is nice, but again, far too small. The service is ok and the food and drink are good. A little pricey but not too bad. A good starter place on your fun nights out!

Awesome martinis and good food, especially their happy hour spatter specials. A little small and loud, but outside patio helps.

It was a Sunday night but the food was great, the drinks were strong, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the music was variable. We had a great time and plan to return.

Please close down for a day or five and have the place cleaned. Seriously, I'm begging you. My shoes stick to the floor inside AND on the patio. The food is so inconsistent, it is easy to tell when it's fresh and especially easy to tell when it isn't. The place used to have a loungy feel. It is now on its way to becoming a dive bar with food to match.

One of the best places in town for an adult beverage and a good meal. The blackened chicken wrap paired with the Parmesan portobello fries is amazing. The drink selection is great with specials always being offered to keep it interesting. The staff has always been friendly and attentive and keep it together during the busy times. For me this is a Keene staple to which I will gladly continue to give my patronage and support to.

It would be 5 stars but for the wait. There weren't very many people there, waited a long time for everything. But the food and drinks were delicious!

Love the drinks and bartenders are always friendly. Good is great, especially the brunch but could you take the waffles off the menu if you still don’t have a waffle maker? It’s been months and every time I get told there’s no waffle maker when the menu is the same.

Stopped here on a rainy night for some beers and dinner. It was a Monday and they do Happy Hour all day. Food was good but nothing to write home about. Nice staff but bathroom was on the small side.

The drinks are well made and the burgers are juicy and delicious! Karen is the best!

Environment may feel cramped for some but i find it cozy. Huge variety of drinks for every taste, plus great food. Wish they had more vegetarian options. Brunch here is excellent.

So I am only giving this bar 3 stars because I was not extremely pleased with the prices of the drinks here. I am not at all unsatisfied with the quality of service and the cleanliness of the place. Definitely more of a place for those of you who prefer a quiet night out with a loved one or two. Not so much of a college hang-out

Great small bar.

Good food.... Really good. Waffle home fries... Beef brisket and eggs... Yumm. Service was a bit slow but not for lack of effort... Only 2 girls to cover both the bar and the tables, but they were hustling. And very good prices. It's a bar though and the music isn't exactly relaxing Sunday Brunch jazz. Will definitely come back though...

One of the better places to drink in Keene. Much classier than the other places. The mixed drinks are actually very good. They have great house mix drinks that are definitely worth it.

Driving through Keene, needed to stop and get a bite to eat. One of the restaurants we were going to go to didn't open until 5; it was 1:00. We were walking around checking out places, saw this on the side street and decided to go in. Honestly, was a little worried at first. It's a college town and 21 is a bar, and it was seat yourself and we weren't sure we were noticed. Didn't expect much. Didn't have to wait long to get a menu though and the server brought us water right away. I was very pleasantly surprised. I had the Tuscan veggie wrap, which came with fries. The wrap was toasted /grilled and so good! The fries were good too. My friend had chicken tenders and she liked them. We didn't have drinks as we were pressed for time to get back on the road. Server was friendly and attentive.

Above average pub fare and super friendly staff. Deck is dog friendly, but a bit cramped. Good beer selection. Kids loved the chicken strips and the pulled pork sandwich was awesome!!!

Keene's cocktail bar is always a festive place especially on the weekends. Rather loud and jovial, so if your looking for a quite place you might want to skip. Great mixed drinks an a few beers on tap to keep everyone happy. Waitstaff is attentive and pleasant.

Great drinks and tasty, affordable food. It can get kind of noisy during peak hours, but that’s par for the course with a bar, and this one is nicer than most.

Solid bar and grill--TVs tuned to ESPN for dinner and great waitstaff with a fun vibe, the menu is exactly what you expect from a bar. Great outdoor seating, too.Cons? My steak was pretty underseasoned and could have used a more attentive hand considering I ordered it medium and it came out closer to medium well. I'd go back no problem, however.

Best bar ever

21 has very good food. However they claim to serve late night food. Their website advertises that. I went at 9:15 pm and was told the kitchen stops at 9 pm. That is NOT late night food! Want ppl to stay and drink more of your expensive beer?? Then serve food of some sort always when open. My 2 beers were $7 each. $5 everywhere else around. I went for the food. Very noisy also. Would have been good if there was food! The beer tasted great. Would have been better with food! You have very good so serve it always when open.

You won't find a nicer sit down bar with nicer staff and cleaner atmosphere

The drinks are always perfect. The food is great. BUT HOW DARE YOU GET RID OF THE BAKED BRIE APPETIZER!
